OKKKK I'm doing something wrong.. shall try again... Malibu, I know u can make this wonderful umm coffee table/come bottle holder thing.. lol.. It certainly looks great and would be a wonderful conversation piece, or man magnet !!
And ya know what the sad thing is, Anon? I could probably come by a V8 fairly easily (one with a terminal illness that has been removed from a customers car to make way for a nice new one - my boss would probably appreciate me taking a cracked block off his hands). And I could make it nice & shiny with some sandpaper and 4 tins of spraypaint, whack it in the middle of the loungeroom, and it would have bloody kids fingerprints all over the glass before I'd finished admiring it!
I'm saving it up for one of the many DIY projects when they leave home.
And I wouldn't bother with the bottle-holding-option - bottles in my house don't stay full long enough. I'm thinking a rolled-up tv-guide and normal tv/pay-tv/playstation tv remote control holders. Hey. Who said I can't think outside the square?
Did you get my email? Or did Corby mislead me with your address, and is someone somewhere scratching their head thinking 'who the hell is Malibu? And what on earth is a MOS???'
Hey now that all sounds great!!! but.. get what you can NOW and put under cover or somewhere.. and teach the kids how to clean glass!! next thing you know they can be cleaning windows too!!!
